Easter Egg Hunt – April 3rd 2026

Our 2026 Easter Egg Hunt was a fantastic day of fun at Spencer Park, over by the bike track, bringing together families from across the community.

We filled the park with hidden plastic eggs, ready for our younger visitors to find. Each child was invited to collect one egg and bring it back to our gazebo, where it was swapped for a delicious chocolate Easter egg. Every plastic egg had a number inside to make sure everyone received their treat fairly.

With a suggested donation of just £1, the event was open to children under 10 and offered a simple, fun way for families to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, and celebrate Easter together.

It was a lovely day full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of chocolate – and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again!

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea – Saturday March 14th 2026

Our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea was a lovely way to celebrate all the amazing mums and carers in our community.

Held the day before Mother’s Day, it gave families the chance to enjoy a special treat together while still keeping the Sunday free for their own plans. Guests joined us in relaxed one-hour time slots, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

Each person enjoyed a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats, including scones, cakes, sandwiches, and more – all carefully prepared to make the occasion feel extra special.

Children were very welcome, making it a true family-friendly event, and of course, every mum received a little something to make her feel appreciated. 💕

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, good food, and time spent together – and we’re already looking forward to doing it again!

BeatRoute Radio Disco – February 21st 2026

Our Beat Route Radio Disco was an unforgettable event, bringing music, energy, and community spirit together for a brilliant cause.

Held in collaboration with Beat Route Radio, the disco celebrated their incredible 36-hour live broadcast marathon, led by Dave Cowley, Andy Black, and River. From 7am on Saturday through to 7pm on Sunday, they stayed on air to raise awareness, support, and vital funds.

The event helped raise money towards developing our upstairs space, allowing us to continue growing and providing even more support, activities, and opportunities for our community.

It was a true team effort, powered by generosity, determination, and a lot of heart. We’re so grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and supported the marathon – and to Beat Route Radio for partnering with RUSH 2The DEN to make it all happen.
