Held on the first Saturday of every month from 2pm to 4pm, the Rushden Swap Shop is free to enter and open to families who want to donate, swap, browse, or simply see what is available.
What is the Rushden Swap Shop?
The Rushden Swap Shop is a monthly event where families can bring along clean, good condition baby and children’s items and exchange them for things they may need. It is a great way to pass on items that are no longer needed while finding useful things for your own family at the same time.
It is all about community, affordability, and making sure good items can continue to be used rather than going to waste.

There is also free parking at Duck Street Car Park, making it easy to pop in and take part.
What can you bring?
Families are welcome to donate suitable baby and children’s items, as long as they are:
- clean
- in good condition
- ready for another family to use
This helps us make sure everything available at the swap shop is safe, practical, and useful for local families.
Donations welcome
Entry to the Rushden Swap Shop is completely free. However, donations towards storage costs are always very gratefully received. These donations help RUSH 2The DEN continue to run the event and keep the space organised for the community.
