Imagination takes centre stage every Thursday at RUSH 2The DEN with Let’s Pretend.
This exciting role-play session is perfect for babies, toddlers, and young children up to school-entry age. From chefs to firefighters and everything in between, little ones are invited to step into different roles, create their own stories and let their imaginations run wild.
We are open from 9:15am to 2:45pm on a drop-in basis, giving families the flexibility to come along when it suits them best. The last entry is at 2pm, and the cost is £2.50 per child.
Pretend play is an important part of early childhood development. When children act out real-life situations or create their own imaginary worlds, they are doing much more than simply playing. They are learning how to communicate, express themselves, explore emotions and make sense of the world around them.
Role play can help children develop confidence, language and social skills as they interact with others, share ideas and take on different characters. It also supports creativity, problem-solving and emotional development, giving children the freedom to think in new ways and explore different experiences.
Whether they are serving food in a play kitchen, helping in an imaginary emergency, caring for toys or creating their own adventures, every child can play in a way that feels natural and enjoyable to them.
Let’s Pretend is a fun, friendly and imaginative session where little minds can dream big.
Come and see who your little one will be today at RUSH 2The DEN.
