Every Wednesday brings a new playtime adventure at RUSH 2The DEN with our popular Stay N Play session.
Designed for babies, toddlers and young children up to school entry age, Stay N Play is a relaxed and welcoming session where little ones can enjoy a wide variety of toys, activities and opportunities to play, learn and socialise. Each week brings something a little different, helping children stay curious, engaged and excited to explore.
We are open from 9:15am to 2:45pm on a drop-in basis, so families can come along at a time that suits them. The last entry is at 2pm, and the cost is £2.50 per child.
Stay N Play is all about open-ended play and giving children the freedom to explore in their own way. From role-play and construction toys to sensory items, musical play, and hands-on activities, there is plenty to enjoy. Children can move between activities, follow their interests and build confidence as they play.
These sessions also support important areas of early development. Through play, children can improve their communication, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and imagination. They also learn about sharing, taking turns, solving problems and interacting with others in a group setting.
For adults, Stay N Play is a lovely chance to spend quality time with your child, meet other families and enjoy a friendly community atmosphere.
