Alongside our regular activities, RUSH 2The DEN also runs a range of fun, friendly sessions throughout the year for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups.
These special sessions are designed to help little ones learn through play, music, stories and hands-on experiences, while giving adults the chance to spend quality time together in a welcoming community space.

Little Chefs
Little Chefs is a lovely hands-on session designed to get toddlers curious about food in a fun and relaxed way.
During the session, children and their adults can make simple lunches together, explore different foods, and enjoy getting involved in the process. It is a great way to encourage confidence around food, support independence, and make mealtimes feel positive and enjoyable.
Little Chefs is ideal for little ones who enjoy getting stuck in and trying something new. It also gives adults ideas they can take home and use again.

Jolly Jingles
Jolly Jingles is a cheerful music-based session where little ones can enjoy songs, sounds, movement and fun together.
These sessions are a brilliant way to help children build confidence, develop listening skills and enjoy joining in with music. Singing and movement also support early development, communication, and social interaction, all while helping children burn off a little energy in a happy, engaging space.
Jolly Jingles is perfect for children who love to clap, dance, bounce and join in.

Jolly Jingles runs in short courses throughout the year, giving families the chance to join when new blocks become available.
Interactive Storytime
Interactive Storytime brings stories to life in a way that little imaginations will love.
These sessions invite children to snuggle up, listen, join in, and enjoy stories together in a cosy, engaging environment. Each story is linked to the theme of the week, helping children connect stories with the world around them through play, imagination and discussion.
With juice and biscuits included, Interactive Storytime is a lovely chance to slow down, share a story, and enjoy a special time together.

Interactive Storytime takes place regularly throughout the year as part of our wider programme.
Crafty Corner
Crafty Corner is a fun, creative session where children of all ages can get stuck into weekly themed crafts in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
From painting and sticking to building and designing, each session is designed to encourage imagination, creativity and self-expression. It’s a great way for little ones to explore new materials, develop fine motor skills, and enjoy making something they can be proud of.
There’s no pressure and no right or wrong – just plenty of opportunity to create, explore and have fun together.

Crafty Corner runs during our Babies, Tots, & Adults sessions, so you can drop in at a time that suits your day.
Please note: Crafty Corner will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, running between 9:15am and 2:45pm (last entry 2pm).
