RUSH 2The DEN teamed up with NCKC to enable a fun filled day on the water.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
RUSH 2The DEN are very please to announce that we raised £190.56 for Macmillan Cancer Support during our coffee morning September 2014, £243 during our event in 2015 and £283 in 2016. We would like to thank everyone who turned to up help us support this good cause. The children attending were able to have a play on the bouncy castle supplies by Kerry Kastles (THANK YOU) and decorate biscuits at their own tables whilst adults relaxed over a coffee and cake nearby.
We would like to particularly give a huge thank you to Nicky, Sam, Rachael, Sue and Amanda who baked their hearts out to create their wonderful cakes, photo's of which are on our Photo's page and Leaders: Snowy, Meadow, Ice, Star, Sky, Wolf and Wizard for their help in making this annual event so successful :-)

Bike Maintenance Workshop
Sponsored Bike Ride & Picnic
The morning of the sponsored bike ride was lovely, warm and sunny with out being too hot. we made it to our picnic place with plenty of time to spare and a little ahead of schedule.
After lunch and a rest we headed back via the Zip line for a play before getting to the main Stanwick Lakes play area. It was there that the rain decided to join us so we sheltered under the zip line for a while singing and having fun.
The rain eased so we started off again, just to get as far as the new hide before taking shelter for a while. We had a good time to play at the main play area before finishing the day.
Well done to all of those who came on the bike ride and picnic, great riding guys :-) Lovely to see so many of you there.

Gifts, crafts, mince pies, cakes, ceramics, toys, cards and loads more. Crafts to make and refreshments too.
Christmas Party
3 Christmas parties in the same day 1 during the day for Tots and Adults and then main event with 2 for Youth Club in the evening, a wonderful way to finish off the year!
Thank you all for coming along, especially the leaders and helpers, who are absolutely wonderful

Everyone who came enjoyed a great band and 5:7's had an exclusive early performance, just for them!

Decorating
The Rushden Prince's Trust Team '26' have done a fantastic job in two weeks completely decorated RUSH 2The DEN and turned our bland building into a bright and colourful place for all to enjoy :-) Amanda worked her magic to produce another outstanding character cake to help us say THANK YOU to the Prince's Trust Team '26', Billie, Dan, Chris and Naomi :-D
